DEFENCE UKRAINE is an online store offering military gear, clothing, and accessories for servicemen, volunteers, and civilians. The platform provides a wide range of products for defense and security needs.
The collaboration between DEFENCE UKRAINE and UNWEB has been ongoing since 2024
The client approached us after being dissatisfied with the quality and slow performance of the previous team. They were looking for a reliable partner capable of delivering the project quickly and professionally.
Solution
To fully meet the client’s needs, we didn’t just improve the existing solution — we dismantled everything down to the last screw. After identifying key weaknesses in the previous version, we expanded the tech stack and reimagined the frontend from the ground up. The result: a modern, fast, and reliable interface built on Nuxt.js, delivering a seamless user experience across all devices.

Website redesign
We implemented a completely new website design using Nuxt.js, delivering fast load times and full responsiveness. Along the way, we significantly improved the project architecture and upgraded the admin panel — making it more user-friendly, faster, and flexible for managing content and products.
New user dashboard
Following our improvements, the user dashboard evolved from a simple order status page into a fully functional interaction tool. We added new features, enhanced navigation, and provided easy access to purchase history, personal settings, and quick reorder options.
Loyalty program
The website now features a referral program that encourages users to share the platform with others. It rewards bonuses not only for inviting friends but also for their future purchases — fostering engagement and building a loyal customer community.
Results
The collaboration between UNWEB and Defence Ukraine resulted in a fully revamped online store, optimized for speed, user convenience, and performance under load. We delivered a scalable architecture, responsive design, and a flexible admin panel that empowers the DefenceUKR team to efficiently manage products, orders, and content. The final product is not only technically robust but also ready for future growth and expansion.
